THE CAVERN CLUB was an old wine cellar/basement with three tunnels connected by archways. On 7 August, 1957 the Quarry Men appeared at the Cavern Club and played some Elvis Presley numbers. The owner sent them a note to "Cut out the bloody rock." The Beatles first lunchtime appearance in the Cavern was on 21 February, 1961 and their first evening session on 21 March, 1961. They played a total of 292 times through August 3, 1963 for about 25 shillings a session. Click on the image to for more information.

CHEAP TRICK may be one of the most covered bands of all time. Since the 70s they've been blending elements of pop, punk and even metal in a way that is instantly catchy and recognizable. With timeless classics such as "I Want You to Want Me," "Surrender," and the late 80s lighter-waving favorite, "The Flame," CHEAP TRICK are a musical institution.

Not only do we have monthly meetings in fine restaurants and other great locations, but members also get together for many of the Beatle-related happenings in and around the New York City area (i.e. Paul and Ringo concerts, tribute band gigs, conventions, sing-alongs, etc). Toronto Beatles Fan Group is run by fans for fans. We will be organizing events such as regular get-togethers, parties, outings, special events and offers. Some events will be open to non-members but for special offers and discounts you will have to be a group member.

The plan is to meet up with local and surrounding area Beatles fans, to attend Beatle-themed events and parties to keep up with the latest news in the world of The Beatles. We will be discussing everything from Beatles trivia to Beatles music to Beatles history. Members will also be encouraged to share personal insights and memorabilia along with experiences pertaining to all things Beatles.
